Ward Hostess

**J**Responsibilities:1. Greet patients and visitors as they enter the ward, and provide them with assistance as needed.2. Escort patients to their rooms or designated areas in the ward.3. Assist in serving meals to patients, ensuring that dietary requirements are met.4. Maintain a clean and organized ward environment, including changing linens and tidying up patient areas.5. Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.6. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their time in the ward.7. Assist in transporting patients to and from appointments or procedures within the hospital.8. Adhere to all infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.9. Attend training sessions and meetings as required by hospital policies and procedures.10. Perform other duties as assigned by the ward manager or supervisor.Qualifications:1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.4. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.5. Knowledge of basic infection control procedures.6. Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families.7. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.8. Physical ability to lift and move patients if necessary.9. Basic computer skills for entering and accessing patient information.10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
