**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Tertiary qualification advantageous
- Previous experience as an Optical Assistant / Optical Advisor
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Valid Driver’s License

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer Telephone Calls
- Welcome Patients
- Assisting patients with paperwork and opening a file
- Booking appointments
- Scheduling Optometrist diary
- Invoicing and Receipting
- Quotes and Payments
- Frame Dispensing
- Arranging Collection of Spectacles
- Data Capturing on our internal system
- Job Tracking
- Frame and Lens ordering
- Cash Ups
- Credit Requests
- Cleanliness of practice
- Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08h15 to 17h00, and every alternate Saturday from 08h15 to 13h00. Public holidays from 08h15 to 13h00.
