**G.M. PRODUCTION / OPERATIONS **(METALS /ALLOYS/ STEEL)**
**GAUTENG**
International group is looking for a “hands on” Production Manager to ensure that production meets delivery dates across several operations in conjunction with your plant managers. Working closely with sales/finance/quality and maintenance you would be responsible for budgets, stock, procurement, production schedules, HSE etc.
**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
Engineering/Production Diploma or equivalent.
12 yrs manufacturing exp. from the metals/ steel/ Alloys/ galvanizing/ zinc industries.
8 years’ exp. in managing production plants.
Firm but fair management style.
Strong background in ensuring that all manufacturing plant equipment is maintained.
SHEQ conformance & all relevant legislation.
Experience in dealing with a militant workforce.
MS Excel/Power Point & Word.
Above average communication skills.
Valid SA Drivers license.
