Our client specializing in earthmoving equipment is looking for a diligent individual who is willing to grow with their company

**Main Responsibilities**
- Will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our welding shop, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
- Management of a team of welders, organizing workflow, and maintaining a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines
- Monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during the welding process
- Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure the highest welding standards are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of completed work to identify and rectify any defects.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of welding equipment
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to address equipment issues promptly.
- Monitor and manage inventory of welding consumables and tools.
- Maintain accurate records of completed projects, work hours, and materials used
- Generate reports on team performance, project status, and any relevant metrics.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding progress, challenges, and solutions.

**Additional Specifications**
- Must have experience on the repair of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment and Buckets.
- Ability to perform Aluminium and Tig Welding.
- Must be able to draft and read drawings.
- Knowledge of a variety of suppliers.

***Essential Requirements**
- Qualification : Relevant Welding Qualification (Red Seal)
- Experience : Relevant practical position experience as a Welding Supervisor or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques and equipment

**Salary R 20 000 - R 50 000 CTC per month depending on experience
