Adhering to Procurement Policy and its Standard Operating Procedures, to achieve efficiency in Vendor Management,
- Jointly manage a supply chain consisting of over 500 vendors, ensuring vendor compliance;
- Build on existing relationships with the supplier vendors base,
- Identifies commodities where development of new vendors in local growing communities is needed,
- Integrate vendor management control recommendations, issued internally,
- Complete supplier onboarding documentation and vendor management assessment data,
- Responsible for all commercial related vendor interactions at the Mine,
- Works with the Vendor Contractor Management to oversee all vendor compliance of Contractor Safety File,
- Assist in the investigations, coordinating and resolving vendor complaints,
- Evaluates prospective vendors for Procurement Superintendent’s approval,
- Communicates Procurement Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Commercial Standard Terms and Conditions Guidelines to vendors and employees,
- Checks, tracks, and secures needed paperwork and certifications,
- On time Social Labour Plan reporting as per Preferential Procurement portion in the Department of Mineral Resources, Mining Charter III, 2018 - maintaining accurate records and reports,
- NQF Level 6 and/or NQF Level 7 in Supply Chain Management (Logistics/Purchasing/Business Management),
- Three (3) year relevant experience within a Vendor Procurement Environment within the Mining Industry,
- Experience in working with the Mining Charter as per the Department of Mineral Resources requirements,
- Proficiency in operating Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint),
- Knowledge of B-BBEE Procurement, Transformation, Vendor Management Legislation,
- Cross-functional business team environment experience and proven ability to self-manage, self-motivate and deliver on time,
- Excellent communication skills in English - both written, verbal with a clear effective customer service approach,
- Able to work under pressure with high attention to detail - with ability to organize, prioritize and be flexible in an environment of multiple tasks,
