**Responsibilities**:

- Keep a meticulous record of what goods have already been ordered and communicating with the buyer on orders still need to be placed.
- Contact vendors, confirm status of orders, verify supplies and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates.
- Liaise with the various freight forwarders regarding the collection and shipping of orders from global vendors.
- Monitor the progress of shipment to ensure timeous deliveries.
- Submit daily updates to the various teams (ComOps, Production & Quality) during the daily accountability meetings.
- Communicating with customers about the status of open purchase orders and problem-solving to reduce the impact of late shipments.
- Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved coordination of productive operations.
- Update the data on sales order statuses daily on the ERP system - SYSPRO.
- Monitor projected delivery timelines, supplier performance and work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Compile month-end reports regarding On-Time Delivery, Backlog, Past Due Backlog.
- Assist with the preparation and submittal of all export documentation for export orders. Assist with invoicing of customer orders when required. Assist with capturing of delivery notes and invoices on server.
- Support the Plant manager and Production supervisor in preparing monthly Revenue forecast sheets.

**Requirements**:

- National High School diploma.
- At least two years’ experience in a position related to data capturing, operations facilitation & co-ordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to maintain work and production schedules.
- Experience in logistics import + export. Experience in Inventory Control.

Preferred skill/experience:

- Experience in working on our current ERP system - SYSPRO will be a benefit.
