Electrical Technician

Market leader requires qualified and trade tested Electrician with wireman's license to provide specialised

technical services to the processing plant by carrying out scheduled maintenance on machinery and equipment

as well as conducting repairs, PLC programming and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.

Skills should include:

- Ability to work overtime, call-out and break downs
- Be available to work continuous shift, when required
- Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Have excellent fault finding and problem solving skills
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Manage and maintain plant control systems, planned maintenance, cost control, safety and quality standards
- Assist in the preparation of the Electrical Maintenance Budget
- Control and monitor plant electrical expenditure within budget constraints
- Always ensure the plant is running at optimum output and profitability
- Maintain the plant computer systems - Scada/HMI
- Electrical administraion and document management
- Analyse machine failures, breakdowns, unplanned maintenance and implement corrective measures to prevent re-ocurrance
- Maintain plant efficiency and downtime in accordance with company targets
- Reporting to maintenance manager, engineer and production team
- Driver's License and own vehicle
