Must have a Mechatronics Engineering qualification
Proven 4 years PLC experience within automotive production Environment
Installation, commissioning and code creation experience
The ability to work without constant supervision
Must have extensive knowledge / experience with Tia Portal programming
Must have worked with automation projects before
Endeavour to foster and maintain good working relations with all departments and staff.
Ability to do fault finding on the line / problem solving skills.
Good attendance and timekeeping record
Welding knowledge (MIG/TIG) and experience with welding jigs and fixtures advantageous

**Responsbilities**

Welding fixtures
Leak test units
Checking fixtures
- Implementation of ETS system
- Supports maintenance, do fault finding and liaise with various departments
- Repair breakdowns to machinery PLC programs
- Perform maintenance inspections and generic maintenance tasks
- Install, relocate, commission machinery
- Evaluate machinery for continues improvement
- Understand the fundamentals of the robot PLC and wiring.
- Manipulate welding robots with manipulators.
- I/O selection from the robotic teach pendant
