Conducting Health Risk Assessments - pre-employment, annual and exit examinations across all sites
- Treating Occupational diseases and injuries
- Facilitate referrals to doctors, specialists or hospitals
- Medical report interpretations for chronic diseases
- Monitor and treat chronic health conditions
- Liaise and engage with other Health Care Professionals regarding Risk Assessments and Occupational Hygiene surveys
- Assisting with disaster management
- 24 hr standby in case of emergencies
- Assess and determine all medical emergencies which arise, initiate treatment and co-ordinate further treatment as required
- Managing medical bag/kits for all remote locations
- Complete or ensure completion of medical administration
- Practice Management and administration
- Providing hygiene training to employees
- Keep records and write reports Qualifications and Experience

**Applicants should meet the following Requirements**:

- MBChB qualification recognised by the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- Occupational Medicine qualification recognised by the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- Registered with SASOM
- A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience as a registered Occupational Medical Practitioner
- Certificate of Independent Practitioner
- Dispensing license
- Resume and references specific to occupational medical services
- Certified copies of Qualifications and HPCSA Registration
- Certified ID Document
- Must have good interpersonal skills and a professional disposition
