Guillotine Operator

**Position Summary**:
SG26 is seeking a dedicated Guillotine Operator and Spot Welder to join our dynamic team. As a Guillotine Operator and Spot Welder, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately operating guillotine shears for metal cutting and performing spot welding to assemble metal components. This dual-role position requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products

**Education/Qualifications**:

- Welding Certification is preferred

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Guillotine Operation**:

- Set up and operate guillotine shears to cut metal sheets according to specifications.
- Ensure precise measurements and clean cuts are achieved consistently.

**Spot Welding**:

- Perform spot welding operations to assemble metal components as per project requirements.
- Inspect welded joints for quality and make adjustments as necessary.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct inspections of cut metal and welded components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Make adjustments to equipment settings to achieve desired results.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during guillotine and spot welding operations.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Guillotine Operator and Spot Welder in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting.
- Familiarity with guillotine shears and spot welding equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to specified tolerances.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to cutting and welding operations.
