**FORESTRY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER**

Role Main Purpose:

- To engage emerging and existing wattle growers, communities, interested stakeholders, and governmental institutions to promote, encourage and develop the wattle industry and support wattle-bark supply

Minimum Essential Requirements/Experience:

- Diploma or Certificate in Forestry Management or equivalent.
- Valid Code 8 Driver’s licence.
- Minimum one year’ experience in Forestry.
- Some community projects exposure.
- Bilingual in English and IsiZulu (Afrikaans would be an advantage).
- Working Knowledge of Office 365

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R26,000.00 - R28,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
