Electrician (Red Seal) job vacancy in Wadeville, Johannesburg.

Our client, a leading player in the steel industry, is currently seeking an experienced Electrician with a Red Seal Trade Certification from a steel background.

**Requirements**:

- Red Seal Trade Certification as an Electrician.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician, preferably in a steel manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in electrical systems, including wiring and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with welding and fabrication is an asset.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair, and replace electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
- Install conduits and pipes.
- Ensure pipes comply with electrical codes.
- Install circuit brakers and other electrical hardware.
- Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- Inspect electrical systems to determine if repairs are needed.
- Replace conduits and wiring.
- Replace circuit breakers.
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Maintain all records and files, prepare reports when needed.
