Upmarket restaurant situated in Bree Street, CBD, Cape Town, is seeking professional Barman/Barback to join our team Please include you CV and latest profile PICTURE.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Greets guests and presents them with the menu
- Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any
- Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- Understands and can communicate about the products available
- Flexible working hours as well as available to work weekends and Public holidays as per operational requirements
- Required to work rostered shifts and irregular hours as per operational requirements

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**:

- High school or equivalent education
- Min of 2 years’ experience in fast pace environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Upselling Skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (required)
