**Job purpose**

The role of the digital marketing specialist is to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that leverage various digital channels and platforms to promote products or services, build brand awareness, and drive customer engagement and conversations.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Strategy Development by creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the business goals and targeted audience and ensure metrics are in place to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Social Media Management by leveraging social media advertising to reach and engage targeted audiences.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by optimizing websites and content to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic, conducting keyword research, optimizing on-page elements, and build quality backlinks to improve search visibility.
- Pay per click (PPC) setup and manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn ads and monitor and optimize campaigns performance to maximise ROI and achieve business objectives.
- Analytics and Reporting by monitoring and analysing digital marketing campaigns using tools like google analytics tracking key metrics, generating reports and provide insights to improve marketing strategies and ROI.
- Conversion rate optimization (CRO) optimise landing pages and user flows to improve conversion rates, conducting A/B testing, analyse user behaviour, and implement strategies to increase website conversions.
- Digital Advertising, plan and execute display advertising campaigns, including banner ads, native advertising and retargeting campaigns. Optimize ad placements, creatives and targeting to drive brand exposure and conversions.
- Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, tools and best practices by continuously learning and adapting strategies to leverage emerging technologies and platforms.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Relevant Marketing or IT qualification (degree or diploma, or equivalent experience)
- Digital marketing in a Tech,E-commerce, agency or in-house studio Industry background
- Insights into South African small business audience
- Deep understanding of targeted audiences
- Managing conversion tracking and attribution
- Demonstrate organically ranked content
- Research and analysis
- Technical programming skills
- Understanding of user experience and SEO
- Conceptualizing, brainstorming and idea-generating ability

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month
