**Job Purpose**
- To monitor the implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework in Nedbank and its subsidiaries to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and alignment to the operational risk management framework and international best practice.

**Responsibilities**:
**Identify risk**
- Risk & control self-assessments (processes & strategic) - 3 months of the year
- Evaluate how likely and severe the risk is - on-going
- Active risk evaluation in projects - adhoc.

**Report on risk**
- Attend risk meeting - at least 2 a month.
- ERCO reporting
- Ops Risk committee reporting.

**Monitor enterprise risk**
- Conduct assurance work
- Key risk indicator monitoring
- Internal loss data collection
- The above key functions require at least 2 staff members to perform these functions on an on-going basis - the team currently works at full capacity (there is no spare capacity)
