We are seeking a skilled computer technician with a deep understanding of ASUS hardware to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing ASUS devices, requiring a keen eye for detail and a strong problem-solving ability. Type: Onsite

**Salary**: Up to R16 500 pm ctc

**Responsibilities**:

- Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot various hardware issues on ASUS laptops.
- Ensure high-quality diagnosis and repairs, including identifying necessary replacement components.
- Conduct hardware repairs, such as replacing LCD screens, motherboards, keyboards, hard drives, and memory modules.
- Thoroughly document and explain repair resolutions to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with and reassuring customers while answering their queries.
- Exceed key performance objectives, including service and repair metrics.
- Collaborate and assist the team with additional tasks when necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric qualification.
- A+ Certification for Technicians is a plus.
- 2+ years of laptop repair experience, including addressing a variety of repair problems.
- Familiarity with disassembling and reassembling laptops, desktops, and tablets, especially ASUS devices.
- Preferably, experience in the ICT Distribution industry.
- Profound knowledge of computer hardware and software configurations.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and laptop problems.
- Ability to quickly identify and explain the components required for technical repairs.
- Prior experience in a customer-centric environment is advantageous.
- Skills in rapidly diagnosing hardware issues and distinguishing between hardware and software problems.
- Proficiency in efficiently and neatly tearing down and rebuilding laptops and desktops.

Willingness to work collaboratively, share knowledge, and develop creative solutions in a team environment.
