- 3 Years working experience in the audit or goverance of IT fields
- Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics.
- Effectively handling detailed information and being consistently attentive to details.
- Application of knowledge on economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Relating to or using analysis or logical reasoning.
Competencies
- Computer literacy
- IT Governance techniques
- Financial skills (GAAP, IIA Standards, PFMA and Treasury Regulations)
- IT skills: COBIT5, ITIL Framework, ACL, Teammate, ISO 31000, Cloud Computing Essentials
- Project Management Frameworks: Agile and Scrum
- Attention to detail
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Assist with developing the IT Governance
- Develop and maintain policies, standards and guidelines to ensure that the ICT framework is embedded and consistently applied across the organisation.
- Perform IT process level risk assessments, including service providers (3rd party risk assessments).
- Develop and implement processes to assess and/or monitor the effectiveness of IT procedures to ensure adherence to standards and policies as appropriate.
- Continuously assess compliance to the IT regulatory
- Develop and implement processes to assess and/or monitor the effectiveness of IT service providers, including the selection criteria, service levels and periodic assessment thereof.
- Participate in review and update of business processes to meet changing business
- Ensure implementation of recommendations highlighted by Internal Audit and External Performing of follow-up audits.
- Review IT contracts with vendors to ensure good practice and governance conditions and SLA's are included
