**Job description**:

- Reception and delivery of employees / equipment / material to the underground operation
- Effective risk management and compliance with DMR, M&RC and client requirements
- Cost containment
- Stakeholder engagement
- Competent, motivated and positive team
- Effective self-management and alignment with MRC values and leadership initiatives
- Compliance with SHEQ, MRC and client standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
- Blasting Certificate (Avantageous)
- Valid Onsetter / Banksman Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
- At least 2 years’ experience as an Onsetter in an operational shaft.
- Knowledge of sinking operations and bank activities
