**Position Overview**:
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing their financial transactions, recording expenses, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your meticulous attention to detail and analytical skills will be vital in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of their financial data.

**Responsibilities**:

- Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Prepare and process invoices and expense reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Prepare payroll and process reports
- Good sound knowledge and experience with VAT, Payroll (PAYE, UIF, SDL, and ETI)
- Monitor and manage petty cash and expense reimbursements.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Contribute to process improvements and optimization of financial workflows.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric
- At least 3-5 years of experience with a bookkeeping/accounting or financial diploma or degree
- Expertise skills in accounting software, Pastel, SAGE Payroll, E-filing and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
