Cad Supervisor

We are searching for CAD supervisor for HVAC, Wet Services and Fire Consulting Engineering company based in Randburg.

Daily.
- Approval all CAD staff need to issue new drawing items/concepts
- Single point of call for distribution of information into the CAD department.
- Be the single point of entry and exit for all drawings.
- Assign jobs to CAD operators.
- Communicate Engineers concerns to the other CAD staff.
- Keep in tune with other CAD operators project work and deadlines, to push speed of work.
- Manage drawing issues and address it with the relevant CAD operator.
- Regular liaison and follow up on jobs with CAD staff and engineers.
- Assign and do own CAD work which must also be managed as above.

Weekly.
- Randomly inspect work from other operators to keep drawing standards high.

Monthly.
- Have regular meetings with CAD Staff once a month for feedback on dept.
- Ordering of CAD stationary.

Standards
- Set-up drawing title block and standard template that all CAD operators must use.
- Implement new drawing families for the office, or other drawing technologies to assist.
- Standardise, Implement and Control filing of drawings.

**Skills**:

- Advanced CAD skills - Revit MEP and Autocad.
- Good interpersonal Skills.
- Some engineering experience. Might need to stand in from time to time for engineers at their meetings.
- High level of English.
- Good co-ordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.

**Experience**:

- Revit MEP: 5 years (required)
- HVAC: 5 years (required)
