**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure smooth operation of drills, in compliance with EMS Mining’s policies and safety standards.
- Participate in safety meetings and promote a culture of safety.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing of drills on-site.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
- Maintain accurate records of parts, materials, and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Foreman and Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Trade Test Certificate.
- Code 10 Driver’s License (essential).
- Operator Certificate for DI 550/DI 650/DP1500i/D25Ks drills.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Drill Rig Operator in the mining industry.
