MISSION
- Manage day-to-day activities of country’s IS&T Department, ensuring availability and security of IS&T Infrastructure, Systems and Applications.
- Manage ICT infrastructure performance and support services in line with Group guidelines, standards, and business needs.
- Implement IS&T policies and procedures as approved by Sodexo Group.
- Single Point of contact for Sodexo Group on all IS&T Activities.
- Execute Group IS&T Roadmap and initiatives.
- Manage IS&T expenditure and budget.
- Attend to first level support for helpdesk ticketing system at country level.
- Review and implement annual Group PLC and CLC Tests.
- Review and implement disaster management tools, procedures, and awareness.
- Maximize the use of technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business.
- Assess system data and error logs, along with user reports, to determine areas for improvement or maintenance.
- Identify and advise EXCO on suitable technology.
- Manage country projects and contribute to Group IS&T Project delivery.
- Implement governance and compliance framework in order to protect the company’s information assets.
- Deployment and Manage Virtual Servers in Azure Cloud Platform
- Database Administration and Maintenance
- Provide functional support to various departments.
- Manage and advise department HOD’s on hardware requirements (Onboarding New staff, replace outdated equipment, source additional - Printers, Scanners, UPS, Laptops, Desktops, Label printers, Time and Attendance systems, Telephone PABX)
- Hardware and Software installation on company prescribed assets.
- Single Point of Contact for IS&T service providers (Point of Sales systems, Internet Providers, Telephone Systems, Procurement).
- Administer user Active Directory for country Organization. (Add/delete users, manage permissions, assign Office 365 Licences, reset passwords, add/delete computers to directory)
- Responsible for licence renewals for IS&T Activities.
- Diagnose and resolve Server issues.
- Manage country IT Security and Network Infrastructure as per Group guidelines. (Including Firewall configuration)
- Routine assessment of server back-ups and testing thereof.
- Manage and coordinate all IT related ad-hoc projects
- Ensure user/site support service is in place and all queries are resolved within a reasonable amount of time

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar. (Desired)
- Microsoft Azure Cloud (Fundamentals and Administration)
- ITIL v3 Certification.
- Database Administration Certification (Microsoft SQL and mySQL)
- Microsoft Windows Server Management
- Office 365 Sharepoint Administration
- Networking (DHCP, DNS, Firewalls)
- Project Management (PMP)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
