Logistics Coordinator

Our client in the Automotive Industry is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to be based in Bryanston

**Minimum requirements**:

- Logistics related diploma/ degree
- 3 - 4 years experience in a similar role
- Automotive background non-negotiable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handling release of vehicles from the port to storage facility.
- Allocating of vehicles to dealerships.
- Arranging transport of vehicles from storage facility to dealerships.
- Ensuring exact quantity/colour distribution amongst the different regions, as per order agreement.
- Requesting Manufacturer certificates & certifying the certificates.
- Invoicing & crediting of new vehicles
- Distribution of the manufacturer certificates timeously to either dealerships or holding company's licensing person to ensure that the licensing process is not held up.
- Ensuring dealerships receive Invoices & POD’s
- Liaising with the Freight Company to ensure that vehicles reach the PDI dealership timeously.
- Ensuring that a continuous flow of vehicles to the PDI dealerships are delivered and fetched thus preventing the dealership from being overstocked with PDI’s
- Constant contact with the PDI dealers once they have received the vehicles to ensure the PDI is completed on time.
- Ensuring that you receive POD’s from the Freight company & incorporating it onto spreadsheets to obtain delivery dates to the dealerships
- Opening new location codes
- Monitoring the stock management system to ensure the vehicles are moving down the grid
- Assist dealers with queries
- General administration relating to vehicles.
- Arranging of Natis documents for vehicles from licensing
