**JOB PURPOSE**

The role of logistics coordinator/ inventory controller carries the responsibility of the management of stock level and warehouse management. Goods received and dispatched are done correctly. Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Primary Responsibilities**

**Import**
- Maintain positive supplier relationships.
- General administrative tasks, dealing with queries, processing of purchase orders (PO)
- Communication with suppliers regarding inventory availability and shipping
- Ensure the relevant compliance with relevant stakeholders, i.e., Customs.

**Receipts**
- Acquiring Invoices from clearing agents and submitting them to finance for approval and payment.
- Stock allocation once the inventory has cleared to the various warehouses.

**Stock controlling**
- Warehouse management handling queries, loading of adjustments, and correspondence relating to stock receivable.
- Processing of debits and credits for respective warehouses.
- Manages inventory levels, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained, and that inventory levels are replenished promptly.
- Warehouse management and operation queries
- Maintains inventory records, including item inventory, bin locations, quantity at each level, and expiration dates.
- Creates, implements, and maintains inventory control procedures to meet company goals.
- Comply with the necessary legislative requirements and record keeping thereof.
- Maintains customer account records, including addresses, contact information, and payment histories

**Audit/Stock Takes**
- Conduct regular spot-checks of inventory levels and report findings to the Sales Directors.
- Conduct monthly and annual stock takes.
- Maintain and update relevant policies and procedures

**Secondary Responsibilities**
- Assist with ad hoc tasks the line manager might give from time to time.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain operations

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
