Installing or repairing cranes or other lifting equipment such as hoists or forklifts
- Inspecting equipment to ensure it is in good working order and performing regular maintenance
- Controlling and operating cranes and other equipment on job sites and following proper safety guidelines and procedures
- Transferring and discharging loads to construction sites and binding loads to cranes
- Keeping and updating maintenance and activity logs and reporting any unsafe practices
- Coordinating with ground operators and interpreting hand and verbal signals
- Setting up production equipment in accordance with safety regulations and engineering calculations
- Leading a team of crane operators and providing guidance
- Performing other tasks, including some heavy lifting and manual labour when requested

**Salary**: R165.00 per hour
