The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) is the leading independent provider of education in psychology, counselling and coaching, offering accredited undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.

SACAP is looking for an Operations Coordinator who is responsible for the general operational functioning of the Durban Campus. This is a highly visible role. The designated incumbent is responsible for portraying a professional image with students, clients, suppliers, staff, educators, and all other stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the operational functioning of the campus in line with SACAPs Strategic Plan
- Daily set up of classroom including preparation for each class, interview rooms and consultation rooms
- Ensure timely purchase, secure and safe storage of Campus grocery supplies in groceries and cleaning equipment
- Ensure that stock is available in right quantities and the right time
- Run a monthly inventory control (including audit) of groceries, cleaning material, stationery, refreshments, vending machines
- Termly stock control (including audit) of all CAPEX items, computers, furniture equipment and stationery
- Provision of excellent service to stakeholders i.e. students, educators, staff, suppliers, parents etc
- Address any gap as may have been identified through 360-degree feedback i.e. annual and regular surveys
- Familiarise and have an excellent grasp of the DBN Capex and operational budgets
- Operate the DBN campus within the provided budget
- Address Campus staff morale as and when needed through coordinating appropriate initiatives
- Develop and implement initiatives for staff retention
- Ensure team cohesiveness and functioning through team building and addressing relevant concerns
- Provide operational guidance and supervision to the Housekeeping staff
- Provide operational guidance and supervision to the Front Desk Receptionist
- Alert the Health and Safety committee and the Head of Campus to any hazards, risks, damages, near misses and injuries urgently
- Provide support to the faculty and students regarding audio-visual setup in the classrooms or refer to Khusela consultant where necessary
- Maintain healthy professional relationships with staff, educators, students and third party suppliers

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- An undergraduate degree or equivalent in the field of administration/ operations
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience at a managerial level
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Higher Education

The role will report directly to the Head of Campus.

**Operating Hours**:
This is a full-time position operating from Mondays to Fridays*:
Monday to Thursday: 08:30am to 17:00pm

Friday: 08:30am to 16:00pm
