CORPORATE SERVICES ETD ISDG - Environmental Health Practitioner

**Requirements**:

- BTech in Environmental Health Occupational Health and Safety IV
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
- South African Council for Project and Construction Management

Professions (SACPCMP) will serve as an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Planning and organising skills with good attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office package
- A valid driver’s licence will serve as an added advantage

Key Performance Areas
- Monitor internal construction safety programmes
- Assist with project specific H&S plan on request and under

supervision of an SPO.
- Monitor compliance of sub-contractors with Construction

Regulations.
- Attend regular site meetings and progress meetings
- Assist Project Managers with baseline risk assessments
- Assist Project Managers with assessments on internal City contracts
- Keep record and monitor the Department of Employment and

Labour notices.
- Monitor site incident investigations
- Establish a training matrix for construction works
- Facilitate toolkit training sessions with SPO
