Introduction
For our local operation and manufacturing plant located in ISITHEBE, KZN.
Woodworking, aluminium and steel window production machinery.
Duties & Responsibilities
Mechanical Maintenance and Repairs:
Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs to equipment in the responsible / allocated work area.
Inspect, perform repairs, install, service and maintain mechanical equipment;
Follow Isolation /Lockout procedure for maintenance and repairs;
Maintain records and logs of inspections, maintenance repairs and work orders;
Perform welding, cutting, soldering and brazing.
Provide estimate of time, materials and equipment required for assigned tasks and maintain records of work performed and parts used;
Report on all equipment defects.
Housekeeping, Safety & Environmental: Allocated workshop areas and job sites to meet required housekeeping standards;
knowledge of drive motors and gearboxs
pneumatic cylinders and valves
eccentric and roll former knowledge
Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Grade 12 / N3 plus Trade test : Fitter Min 3-4 years’ experience in a continuous production environment
Package & Remuneration Market related
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- iSithebe, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Certificate (preferred)
