**Job Description
- Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:
**Coordinated and administer equipment maintenance activities**
- Ensure that all planned maintenance schedules are accurately completed
- Ensure that all work conducted is performed to required standards and specifications
- Identify Operational priorities within the section that would ensure the optimization of the sections performance
- Participate in improvements projects
- Communicate to relevant people regarding defects, problems and equipment maintenance requirements
- Ensure correct utilization of tools and equipment to complete tasks

**People Management Ensure effective employee relation**
- Manage engineering team discipline in a fair manner
- Ensure open two-way communication with all stakeholders
- Take corrective action
- Manage diversity in a fair manner

**Develop team**
- Identify current and future development needs of engineering employees
- Develop training matrix/skills plan for department
- Schedule training as per training needs
- Coach employees

**Manage team performance**
- Set departmental and individual goals
- Clarify roles and responsibilities of each employee
- Schedule resources to achieve goals
- Allocate tasks
- Monitor team and individual performance
- Provide performance feedback
- Manage time and attendance of sub-ordinates

**This role is at C2 level reporting to the Engineering Foreman**

**Qualifications**:

- Artisan Trade Certificate

**Experience**
- 3 - 5 years experience in the Plant Environment

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Computer literate
- English literate
- Ability to lead and motivate other
- Problem solving and Analytical
- Ability to work in a team
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license
