Duties and responsibilities
- Repairing of audio products ie. DVD, Speaker and Soundbar
- Repairing down to component level
- Soldering components on to PC boards including SMT parts
- Reading circuit diagrams
- Using test equipment ie. multi-meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes
- Must be able to: operate, install, modify, repair and maintain TV and Audio equipment.
- Monitor the visual and audio performance of equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and correct malfunctions.
- Assemble audio or visual circuits
- Trouble Shooting of android boxes
- Liaison with clients to assist them in solving the problem
- Book in faulty products using the book in system
- Set up electronic systems and devices
- Assemble and connect system components
- Estimate damage and calculate the cost of materials
- Test item functionality and analyze data
- Repair malfunctions in shop items
- Read and comprehend complex manuals and diagrams
- Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies electronic
- components, parts, equipment, and systems
- Discusses layout and assembly procedures and problems with electronics with all shop personnel and customers.
- Assembles experimental items.
- Test all new electronic products that arrive in store
- Recommends changes specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance of stock.
- Tests all apparatus on shop equipment.
- Writes technical reports and developments
- Check functionality of all electronic gadgets in the shop.
- And any other duties assigned to you by the supervisors.
- When items are booked in for repairs, analyze the fault/problem,

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: From R6,000.00 per month
