Our client, a leading subcontractor to the construction sector seeks to employ an Electrical Response Team Leader who will ensure that all consumer complaints/queries, power outages and emergency situations are attended to by a 24/7 shift operation

**KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION**
- You MUST be trade-tested and have 3 - 5 years of experience in an Electrical environment with working knowledge of relevant Safety Legislation and Practices e.g. Construction regulations in terms of the OHS Act, a broad knowledge of electrical equipment - background knowledge of First Line Response is advantageous
- You must have experience of Electricity By-law, Electricity tariffs, Relevant legislation, Metering Standards, Pre-payment Vending system, and a good knowledge in MS Office is required
- You will be overseeing installation and repair tasks related to the Point of Supply faults, communicate with the team and management to understand work requirements, and prioritize and plans activities, assigning tasks to staff and monitoring progress
- You must report electrical breakdowns and urgent repair needs promptly, identify and reports causes of incidents and accidents, as well as conduct fault findings via phone and interpret electrical network diagrams
- You will monitor staff attendance, conduct, and output, addressing deviations, dispatch teams to fault locations, ensuring timely repairs, and ensure adequate personnel availability for daily tasks, and facilitate understanding of operational processes and procedures
- You must ensure compliance with relevant by-laws during supply restoration, provides daily feedback required by the City (Client), monitors time frames for notifications and attends meetings, conducts site investigations and handles public liabilities
- You must provide technical support and assists in decision-making for various faults, plan shift rosters and audits meters/materials for revenue protection, manage emergencies, handles quotations, and material requisitions
- You will coordinate material collections and assists admin as needed, completes internal and external transactional documents, forwarding them for processing, and generate reports for line manager review
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
