Welder/fabricator

**Welder/Fabricator required**:
High end Residential interior Design Firm in Ballito is looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator for their new manufacturing entity.

We require an experienced Welder/Fabricator with sound knowledge in work-shop fabrication/shopfitting to assist in the manufacturing of bespoke furniture and other various products.

**Requirements**:

- Welding qualification
- 3 years + of experience as a welder in relevant industry
- The applicate should be able to start immediately.
- Sound Knowledge of tools and materials used in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of welding specifications of many types of metal.
- Prepare/cut required shapes and weld according to structure plans
- Effectively operate welding units and equipment to fabricate, repair, maintain and install metal items and equipment
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to plan, organise and control own work effort, a very keen eye for detail is required with good communication skills - English
- Inspect work and fill/repair as necessary
- Clean and maintain all equipment and tools and maintain a clean working area
- Carry out tasks to meet applicable safety standards, targets, criteria, and deadlines and to maximize productivity and profitability
- Carry out tasks within prescribed time limits
- Assist team members on projects to ensure efficient operations and ensure targets are met

**Salary**: R6,500.00 - R8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ballitoville, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- welding: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
