**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum of 10 years experience as a building foreman, preferably with experience on residential apartment developments.
- Matric (Grade 12) is a minimum requirement.
- Additional technical qualifications will be an advantage.
- Only foreman with extensive building experience should apply, applicants with a civil engineering background would not be suitable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Report to site manager and work closely with other site staff.
- Manage sub-contractors, including scheduling and overseeing work.
- Manage junior foremen and laborers on the construction site.
- Ensure project production goals are met within the specified time frame.
- Ensure quality control standards are maintained.
- Communicate regularly to site management and stakeholders regarding the progress of work.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong team leadership skills.
- Solid understanding of the construction process and building codes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly and effectively tackle unexpected issues.
