**Job Advert**:
The search is on and the Ackermans Visual Merchandising team is looking for a confident, positive and resilient DTP Operator, who is able to conceptualize and execute the Visual Merchandising aspects of specific Ackermans projects into print and digital format in accordance with our Operations strategy. If you have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working as a graphic designer or DTP operator this would be the ideal opportunity for you.

**Qualifications**:

- A Diploma in Graphic Designing

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
Knowledge required:

- Project Management principals
- Visual Merchandising principals
- Booklet design and layout
- Print design trends

Skills required:

- Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Sketch up
- 3D rendering
- Microsoft Office
- Project Management
- Planning, organising & time management skills
- Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly detail-orientated and accurate
- A strong sense of customer focus

The ability to:

- Problem solve
- Be proactive and use one’s own initiative

**Experience**:
3 - 5 years' experience working as a Graphic Designer / DTP Operator

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Receive briefs from the Visual Merchandising Specialist / Obtain specifications from the Project team
2. Attend meetings as, and when, required
3. Collate information and produce instructional documentation (for stores to implement) using our current templates
4. New Templates - Design and propose templates - Obtain approval for templates
5. Collate information and produce instructional documentation (for stores to implement)
6. Circulate documentation for approval
7. Amend documentation as required
8. Circulate for final sign-off
9. Upload documentation on relevant platforms
