**JUNIOR SOMATOLOGIST**

**START**: May 2024

**REPORT TO**:Salon Owner

**TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS**
- Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 (9-hour shift)
- Saturdays & Select Public Holidays08:00 - 16:00
- CLOSED on Sundays

**SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS**:

- R8,000 - R10,000 Basic Salary per month (Based on Experience / Based on Skills)
- Services Commission for any services performed by you
- Retail Commission
- Discretionary incentives

**QUALIFICATIONS & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric
- National** Diploma Somatology / Health & Skin Care Diploma**:

- minimum requirement (2-year diploma)
- ITEC / CIDESCO accredited
- BONUS - Advanced Diploma or Dermal Aesthetics
- Beautifully groomed and highly presentable
- English & Afrikaans confident

**SKILLS | EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES**:

- Skilled and confident to perform all standard Somatology services (Skin Care, Body Care & Grooming)
- At least 2 years experience working in a salon or aesthetic clinic
- Laser therapies / IPL - bonus
- Chemical Peels / Advanced Facials with resurfacing agents - bonus
- Slimming Therapies / Endermologie - bonus
- Cruise Ship experience beneficial
