- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Working knowledge of OHS Act and Construction Regulations 2014.
- A sound understanding of the workings of COIDA.
- Good understanding and ability to conduct risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks and implementation of company safety policies.
- Good knowledge and ability to manage multiple sub-contractors.
- Good understanding and ability to understand and implement requirements contained in a EMP.
- SACPCMP registration (good standing must be current) is a prerequisite.
- Good Administrative skills.
- Must be computer literate (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Valid code 08 Driver’s license and own transport.
- Must be based in Cape Town.

Relevant SHE Experience:

- Minimum 5 years’ on-site SHE working experience in civil, mechanical, electrical and the built environment is required.
- Accident investigation.
- Working at heights and fall protection plan implementation (would be advantageous).
- Able to work independently and without supervision.
- Must be reliable, accountable, honest and of sober habits.
