**About the role**:
You’ll be a Senior Data Analyst in the Data Science and Analytics team, part of the broader Data and Analytics team at Yoco.

The Data Science and Analytics team uses data to understand and optimise complex processes. Analysts and data scientists employ a wide range of approaches and techniques, from experiments, forecasting to predictive models to solve customer needs. We work closely with our business partner teams to rigorously define and measure metrics to drive business impact.

**What you will be doing**
- Lead, plan and execute analytics projects.
- Be a company-wide data representative and contribute to analytics best practice and processes.
- Design and build data products to drive business insights.
- Perform deep analysis to identify trends and model customer behaviour.
- Design experiments and test hypotheses from which define optimisation approaches and recommendations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs beyond their request to uncover the “why”.
- Design and build dashboards to monitor key business metrics and performance KPIs.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the team.
- Promote data literacy in the company.

**About you**:

- Highly proficient in SQL and at least one BI/Data Visualisation tool (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- Experience in Python or R for analytics, statistics and ML would be advantageous.
- Significant experience in an analytical role.
- Comfortable in mapping business questions to data problems.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, acting as a business partner across different areas.
- You can communicate findings in a succinct and clear manner to a wide variety of stakeholders so that they can draw conclusions quickly and make rapid decisions.
- You have a strong understanding of the basics of A/B testing, user activity and retention analytics, funnels and customer segmentation.
- You have excellent commercial awareness and can prioritise working on problems with the highest business impact.
