- A leading label company specialising in providing high-quality labeling solutions, seeks to employ an experienced sales individual to assist in supporting the sales team and ensuring efficient order processing. You will be responsible for assisting sales representatives in processing sales orders and coordinating seamlessly between logistics, finance and production.
**Responsibilities**:
Sales Order Processing:
- Assist sales representatives in processing and managing sales orders.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of order details, addressing any discrepancies.
Computer Skills:
- Demonstrate above-average computer skills to navigate efficiently and operate relevant software systems.
- Utilize computer skills for data entry, order tracking and communication.
Organisational Skills:
- Maintain a high level of organisation in handling sales documentation and order records.
- Streamline processes to enhance overall efficiency.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with sales representatives, logistics, finance and production teams.
- Provide timely updates on order status and address any issues or inquiries.
Invoicing on Pastel:
- Utilize Pastel for invoicing purposes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial protocols.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile invoices and address billing inquiries.
Coordination Between Departments:
- Coordinate effectively between logistics, finance, and production teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Act as a central point of contact to streamline communication and resolve any inter-departmental issues.
Customer Interaction:
- Interact with customers as needed to confirm order details, provide updates and address inquiries.
- Uphold a high level of customer service throughout the order process.
**Requirements**:
- Degree or diploma in Sales, Administration, Business or a relevant field
- Proven experience in a sales administration or internal sales support role
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Exposure to invoicing on Pastel is essential
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively between different departments
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in order processing
