Job summary:
As a Cash Applications Team Leader, you will play a vital role in managing the cash flow and financial transactions for CDW.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the accurate and efficient processing of cash receipts and disbursements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

You will collaborate closely with various departments, including finance, accounting, and treasury, to optimise cash management processes and liquidity.

Key Responsibilities
- Cash Application Management:
Cash Flow Forecasting:
Prepare cash flow forecasts to anticipate short-term and long-term cash needs, considering factors such as revenue projections, expenditure patterns, and debt obligations. Collaborate with financial analysts and treasury team members to optimize cash flow strategies and liquidity management.

Treasury Operations:
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to facilitate cash transactions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, and foreign currency exchanges. Monitor and analyse treasury-related risks, such as interest rate fluctuations, credit risks, and liquidity constraints, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.

Compliance and Reporting**:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing cash management activities, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. Prepare and present regular reports on cash positions, liquidity ratios, and other key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Development:
Qualifications, Skills and Ex
- Proven experience (7+ years) in cash management, treasury operations, or financial analysis, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of cash flow principles, banking regulations, and financial instruments.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience in managing teams and driving process improvements.
