Company based in Epping is looking for a Debtors Clerk who is available to start immediately.

**New debtors accounts**:

- Opening a new account on the Abaca systems and ensuring all information is accurate and maintained on the ABACA system.

**Debtor’s book / age analysis**:

- Follow up and resolving queries with customers timeously.
- Ensure accounts fairly reflect balances and reconcile correctly.
- All arrears’ amounts are followed up and feedback is to be provided every Friday in debtors’ weekly meeting.
- Follow up and collection of outstanding pallets.
- Obtaining the remittance schedule from the customers and allocating debtors accounts accordingly and timeously.
- Ensure all credits are cleared timeously and if needs be visiting the client to resolve queries.

**Collection of debtors**:

- Ensure the cash flow letter is sent out by no later than the 20th of each month.
- Debtors’ collection excel file must be maintained daily from which a cash flow forecast of money coming in must be produced stipulating how much money is going to be coming in on the 30th / 31st of the month and then by the 7th, 10th, and 15th of the following month.
- Ensure that the debtors are paying into the Working Capital bank account of the company.

**Bank submissions for working capital**:

- Reports needed from ABACA must be adequately pulled and information supplied to the bank as and when additional funds are needed for the operations of the business.

**Pallets**:

- Update and maintain the Pallet Report.

**Month end**:

- Debtors’ books to be closed by the 2nd working day of the month.
- Sending out monthly pallet credit
- Sending out debtors’ monthly statements
- Ensuring all transactions are posted to the correct debtor’s account.
- All P.O.D and receipts are up to date.

**Reporting and feedback**:

- Report to Financial manager and Head of Finance
- Report daily activities.
- Report all material issues/concerns.
- Provide feedback on improvement.
