**Specialist Trainer**

**Fidelity Training College - Florida**

A position for a Specialist Trainer exists at our Fidelity Training College based in Florida reporting to the Talent Manager. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure all Specialised, soft skills training and training needs analysis and research and development related to specialised courses. This will include liaising with the branches and clients at all levels. This includes but are not limited to the:
**Key areas of responsibility: (Not totally inclusive)**
- ** Research and Development**
- Identification of needs related to training within the group and development applicable taring material and course material where not available.
- Annually re-evaluated all training programmes presented by the L & D Department to establish shortcomings and to upgrade the content based on the latest trends in the marked.
- Communicating the programmes identified within the Training Committee and linking target dates as to when to updates need to be completed.
- Communicating with RTM’S to ensure that one standards is adhered to nationally related to the mentioned training programmes.
- Reporting on the progress related to this requirement to the L&D Manager on a weekly basis where guidance will be required.
- Present pilot program and evaluation material.
- Conduct updated to material content.
- Drafting and conducting training need analysis
- Determine shortcomings and adjusting of material where required

Presenting Specialised training**:

- Ensure that course content is presented in a professional and understandable manner, for all training programmes and media and training aids are used, always. Furthermore, you must adhere to the timeframes:

- Block program
- Lesson Plan lecture preparation
- Assessments practical and theoretical
- Media used during the presentation (PowerPoint, slides, models etc.)
- Safety of students, learners at all times based on the requirements stipulated within the OHS Act.
- Measured by means of weekly/monthly evaluation reports, completed by the RTM.
- 100% compliance to Training Administration Procedure and timeframes allocated to tasks.
- Course administration completed within one (1) day after completion of the course.
- CRB compiled correctly and with no errors or returns from Administration Department.
- If a CRB exceed the time lines you will received a zero mark on this part of the assessment.
- All assessments conducted correctly with zero errors identifies by the Moderator.
- Ensure to protection of the personnel information of students as stipulated by the POPI Act.
- _ You must arrange with RTM for evaluation to be conducted in the lecture room, if not done you will receive a zero on this assessment._

**Ethics**:

- Ensure that you adhere to the Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator code of conduct, as all times.
- Treat client and students with dignity and respect always.
- Control over meals always and ensuring that meals are ordered and provided only to students in the class for that day and that meals are cancelled immediately when a student did not arrive for training.
- Company vehicle control is attended to every day and that vehicle is signed out and inspected in line with the stipulation contained in the company vehicle policy.

**Qualifications, experience and other competencies required**:

- Minimum Matric Certificate and a recognised creditors qualification.
- Accreditation (SASSETA, PSIRA, PFTC and NKP)
- At least 5 years’ experience and full knowledge related to the training environment.
- No Criminal Record or any pending cases.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel is essential.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Numerical accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to details.
- Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels.
- Excellent telephone skills
- Solid attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
- To participate in various ad-hoc projects where necessary
