Prepare food according to the menu specification and production requirements. To strip and clean all equipment received.
FOOD PREPARATION
- Ensure that work areas are kept neat and tidy at all times according to hygiene standards.
- Carry out all tasks according to specifications and instructions.
- Carry out all tasks that need to be performed and report any abnormalities immediately to the Supervisor or Duty Manager.
- Must be prepared to work at any department that falls within the Air Chefs' schedule.
- Attend departmental meetings as and when required by your Manager.
- Ensure correct airline equipment is used for a specific airline.
- Complete all extras/additional.
- Ensuring that stock rotation is carried out on a daily basis (FIFO).
- Adhere to all aspects of Security, SHEQ, HACCP, and operational policies and procedures.
SHEQ
- Adhere to all aspects of Security, SHEQ, HACCP, and operational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all aspects of Occupational Health and Safety, Security and Food Safety Management System guidelines and operational policies and procedures
Education Level: (minimum)
Grade 12.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in food handling would be advantages.
- TGood communication skills (Verbal and written)
- HACCP Knowledge would be advantages
- Ability to work independently, Teamplayer
