Weighbridge Operator

Ingrain is seeking a weighbridge operator to join the Ingrain Kliprivier Mill team.
**Job Purpose**
**Weighing and Recording**
- Operate the weighbridge software and equipment to accurately measure the weight of incoming raw materials, such as maize, and outgoing finished products, ensuring precision and consistency.
- Record all weight measurements in the designated databases or logs promptly and accurately.
- Keep accurate records of all weighbridge activities, including receipts, invoices, and any relevant documentation.
- Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify compliance with quality and quantity specifications, reporting any discrepancies or issues to appropriate personnel.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on weighbridge activities, including material intake and product dispatch.
**Quality Control**
- Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure that all products meet established quality standards by cross-referencing weight measurements with product specifications.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to weighbridge operations, including weighbridge tickets, inspection reports, and inventory records.
- Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standards related to weighbridge operations and supply chain management.
**Communication**
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of all employees and visitors in the weighbridge area.
- Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed, including the full operational support for inventory counts, cycle counts, and other inventory management activities
**Maintenance**
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the weighbridge equipment to ensure it operates optimally. Report any malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team for timely repairs.
**SHEQ**
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of all employees and visitors in the weighbridge area.
**Inventory Management**
- Assist in monitoring raw material inventory levels and notify relevant departments when reordering is required.
**Academic Qualifications**
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12
- Certificate Basic Accounting or Stock Controlling advantageous
**Work Experience**
- Experience on SAP will be advantages.
- 1 - 3 Years of experience in Weighbridge Operating
- 1-3 Years of experience in Basic Computer Experience
**Knowledge**
- Weighbridge Operating
- Proficiency in using weighbridge equipment
- Effective Written and Verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of safety regulations
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
