Santam has an exciting opportunity available for a Graduate in our Reinsurance department at Head Office in Cape Town What will make you successful in this role?

The role will be responsible for assisting the underwriter/ TH modelling and underwriting the MEA portfolio together with doing detailed research on markets that Santam Re underwrites business. Assist in the Administration of contracts and keeping all the paperwork in order. This job will appeal to anyone with good analytical skills, administrative and organisational skills with a touch of people skills. Prevoius experience s not required.

**Key Accountabilities**:
This role is dynamic and will involve analysis, modelling contracts, reviewing slip wordings with the assistance of the underwriter/ Territorial Head
Assisting the Underwriter/TH with client management
Pricing treaties with the use of actuarial techniques
Data Analysis
Qualifications and Experience

BComm Degree with majors in Actuarial Science/ Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Economics & Finance/ Engineering
Proficient in Microsoft excel, MS word & Powerpoint
SQL added advantage
Programming languages Python, Java, C++ etc. an added advantage
0-2 years working experience Skills
