Sewing Machinist

Our state-of-the-art Customisation facility has been built as part of our Distribution Centre in Johannesburg using world class technology and is geared to serve our customers with high quality customised garments, quickly and efficiently. The customisation facility consists of embroidery, screen printing, digital printing, taping and alterations. The constant drive for innovation ensures a solution-driven, team approach with a core focus on providing our customers with excellent quality and exceptional products.

The Machinist is responsible for accurately customising stock items, meeting customer requirements and ensuring that every customer is looked after brilliantly when in store.

**The main responsibilities of the role include**:

- Analyzing and understanding project specifications and customers’ needs before starting each customisation project.
- Deliver high-quality sewing that meets delivery times, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Look after the sewing machine and conduct basic maintenance to ensure the machine is in order and runs smoothly.
- Available to work on shifts and/or any other overtime (incl. weekends) when required.

**The experience we’re looking for**:

- Preferably 2 years’ experience as a clothing machinist or Embroidery Operator.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
