Join our dynamic team as a highly experienced Financial Data Analyst As a key member of our organization, you will have a crucial role in providing accurate and data-driven insights into our company's profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity.

As a Financial Data Analyst, you will dive deep into financial data to uncover valuable insights that shape our strategies and direction. Your meticulous research and analysis will form the foundation of our reports, empowering stakeholders to understand and act upon critical financial information. By monitoring financial movements, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial performance, while proactively identifying trends and recommending actions to senior management.

**Responsibilities**
- Collect, organize, and analyse data from various sources using BI/Analytics/excel tools.
- Design, develop and test BI solutions such as database, data warehouses, queries and views, reports, and dashboards.
- Utilize data analysis, data mining and data integration skills to provide insights to cross-functional teams.
- Designing, delivering, and automating reporting solutions, including data base manipulation, excel macros and strong excel reporting skills.
- Working with cross-functional teams to improve data commutation processes and identify ways to improve efficiency
- Create and deliver compelling data-driven presentations to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Utilize data exploration and data visualization tools like Power BI to present data in a clear and brief manner.
- Conduct financial research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, management science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis and finance related field
- Proven experience in data analysis, data mining, or data analytics
- Proficiency in BI/Analytics tools such as MS SQL, SSIS, and BI
- Experience designing, developing, and testing BI solutions such as database, data warehouses, queries and views, reports, and dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver data-driven insights to stakeholders.

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Foreshore, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
