Our company is looking for a skilled and experienced Debtors Clerk to join our team in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. This full-time position will be based in-office and will involve managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and maintaining accurate records.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, tracking payments, and following up on overdue payments
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communicate with customers regarding their accounts
- Process customer transactions
- Create and process invoices
- Process monthly customer account statements
- Reconcile customer accounts

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Proficient in Pastel Accounting & Pastel Payroll
- Diploma in Accounting or Finance (advantageous)
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hours of work: 08:00-16:30
- Fulltime, permanent position.

**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R18,000.00 per month
