Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Payroll Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.

**Purpose of the role**:

- A Payroll Supervisor** oversees the payroll function in the organization** and ensures that employees are paid correctly and on time. A Payroll Supervisor leads the payroll team and reports to a Payroll Manager. The role demands experience in all payroll-related tasks and a strong leadership ability, but it is primarily tactical. He/she ensures data integrity of payroll/HRIS ensuring it meets legislative requirements and always adheres to policy and process requirements, across.
- Capture and process earning, deduction and allowance on the payroll system.
- Validate all earning, deductions and allowances with relevant input.
- Creation of bank transfer files
- Generate all relevant payroll and month reports
- Process 3rd Party Payment or Insured Benefits Payroll (if applicable) and notify the relevant 3rd Parties with regards to deduction payments (i.e. Medical Aid, Pension Fund, ), if applicable.
- File documentation for audit trail
- Process all statutory payments and payroll report
- Maintain all Insured Benefits online e.g. terminations, changes, claims for Pension / Provident Fund benefits (e.g. permanent disability, death claims, and retirement) or enrol in additional
- Maintain the master data with regards to Employee benefits, and capture contributions on the system in accordance with the Employee's elected choice and the rules of the relevant Fund/
- Confirm the reconciled amount to be paid to the Third-Party Service Provider(s) with the Financial
- Transfer the benefits amounts to the relevant Service
- Ensure that all the correct new engagement and termination documentation is received from the plant HR Managers which is forwarded by the site payroll
- Process all payroll termination procedures.
- All payroll master data
- Audit trail and print outs to be file in audit file as well as personnel
- EMP501 submissions experience an advantage
- Uphold company Core Principles
- Knowledge of all payroll statutory processes
- Proficient in SAP, PT, PA, PY & OM
- Assume full responsibility for the Shared Service payroll drive
- Responsible that all Internal Controls are adhered to (ICB)

**Job Requirements**:

- Matric / Grade 12
- Diploma in Payroll Management/Human Resources/Finance/Administration or equivalent.
- Registration with the South African Payroll Association is advantageous
- At least 3-5 years combined experience ln HR, Payroll, Employee Benefits and Human Resources Administration Management.
- 3 years working knowledge of SAP is mandatory
- Advanced MS Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Working knowledge of relevant Legislation and best practices relating to Payroll and HR.
