Regional Auditor

**Regional Auditor**:
Embark on a rewarding career as a Regional Auditor with a prestigious liquor retailer that has been a market leader in South Africa for over 45 years. Based in the vibrant region of Limpopo, this position is perfectly suited for those who have a deep passion for auditing and bring at least 5 years of solid experience in accounting or auditing.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric.
- Valid Driver’s License and Own Vehicle.
- 5 years in an Accounting/Auditing Role.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Audit Planning and Execution**: Conform to the audit strategy developed by the Company Directors and carry out thorough bi-monthly audits of all stores.
- **Audit Preparation**: Gather essential information from Head Office, pinpoint potential challenges, and get ready for on-site audits.
- **Site Audits**: Conduct audits according to established protocols and discuss initial findings with Store Managers.
- **Audit Finalisation and Follow-Up**: Complete audit reports promptly, submit them to management, and ensure the execution of action plans.
- **Forensic Audits**: Undertake polygraph examinations and forensic investigations as necessary and present the outcomes directly to the Directors.
- **External Audit Coordination**: Manage and track the implementation of corrective measures and urgently report any instances of non-compliance.
- **Legislative Compliance**: Revise and create policies to adhere to legal requirements and conduct internal audits to ensure quality control.
- **Direct Responsibilities**: Put in place controls for expenses and assets and prevent losses while ensuring operational compliance.
- **Human Resource Management**: Continuously assess training requirements, maintain effective team communication, and uphold discipline.
- **Self-Management**: Engage in regular self-review and planning, offer feedback to superiors, and assume additional duties as required.
