**Job Description**:
We are seeking a Substitute Nursery School Teacher to join our team. As a Substitute Nursery School Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education and care for our young learners when our permanent staff are unavailable due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children in the absence of regular teaching staff.

2. Follow the lesson plans and daily routines provided by the lead teacher to ensure continuity and consistency in the children's learning experiences.

3. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

4. Maintain open communication with the school administration and other staff members to ensure a smooth transition for both children and caregivers during staff absences.

5. Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.

6. Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards children, parents, and colleagues at all times.

7. Be flexible and adaptable to different classroom environments and teaching styles.

8. Demonstrate professionalism and reliability by being available for substitute assignments with mínimal notice when permanent staff members are unable to work due to illness or other emergencies.

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience working with young children in a nursery school or early childhood education setting is preferred.

2. A degree or certification in early childhood education.

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

4. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

5. Ability to follow directions and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

6. Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references.

7. Availability to work on short notice, including early mornings and occasional evenings, as needed.
